Great weekend away near Edinburgh for our annual trip to Hopetoun HT. This year we took Gadoralda D (aka Mollie) for the first time. We travelled up on the Friday and got her settled in to her stable at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre.
Mollie performed really well given this was only her second ever cross country run.
The weather was definitely a factor on the day. It was really hot so despite the time penalties on the cross country course I was thrilled that Mollie jumped clear. The cross country course definitely asked some questions, as did the terrain, so a slow round didn’t bother me.
Just need to consider which event we enter next and do I take Mollie or Pendle Brujo (Bud), our homebred PRE?
